2019 AFCA DIVISION II COACHES' FIRST TEAM ALL-AMERICAN: LB Vada King, Sr., Delta St. (Miss.),...King, a two-year starter at middle linebacker, led the GSC in tackles this year with 84, including 13.5 tackles-for-loss. The Smiths Station, Ala., native eclipsed 125 career tackles while totaling double-digit tackles in four of DSU's 10 games with a career-high 13 in two contests. His 13.5 tackles for loss rank third in the GSC as well. King add the laurel his First-Team All-GSC selection announced in November. - Delta State Football

2019 AFCA DIVISION II COACHES' SECOND TEAM ALL-AMERICAN: DB Junior Faulk, Jr., Delta St. (Miss.),...Faulk, who established a new Delta State record for interceptions in a season with nine, adds the honor to his All-GSC First-Team selection for 2019. The Jayess, Miss., native, and 6-foot-1 junior started all 10 games for the Statesmen at cornerback, making 37 tackles with nine interceptions, 22 pass break-ups and one forced and recovered a fumble. He ranks first in NCAA Division II with 22 passes defended, interceptions and interceptions per game (0.9). Additionally, Faulk was named one of 10 finalists for the 2019 Charles Conerly Trophy, awarded annually to the Mississippi's top collegiate football player. - Delta State Football
